Robbie Edwards

Following four generations of local contractors, you could say that construction is in Robbie’s DNA. He grew up in Kingston Springs watching his dad build additions and remodel homes in the greater Nashville area. In 2005, he joined the industry himself and consulted investors, advising them on the feasibility of a residential project and completing the renovation work.

In 2007, Robbie started The Kingston Group, bringing on childhood friend Ricky Scott to help support the needs of investors and property management companies, as well as individual homeowners. With The Kingston Group, Robbie and Ricky set out to redefine construction through lasting relationships with clients and, along the way, brought their creative home ideas to life.

As an entrepreneur, Robbie has been recognized for numerous awards, ranking in Remodeling Magazine’s Remodeling 550 for the past three years, Qualified Remodeler Magazine’s Top 500 the last four years, Best of Houzz Awards for the past three years, Nashville Business Journal’s 2012, 2013, 2014 Small Business Awards, Inc 5000 award winner 2014, Remodeling BIG50 class of 2014, and Professional Remodeler 40 under 40 2014.

Robbie studied civil and construction engineering at Nashville State Technical Community College. As a member of the National Association of Home Builders, Robbie became a Certified Green Professional, and was trained to incorporate green building principles into homes without driving up the cost of construction.
When not working, you can typically find Robbie and his beautiful wife Vanessa outdoors enjoying a nice hike or just relaxing with friends by a bonfire. Outside of work Robbie loves hunting, fishing, spending time with family and BBQs
